 Malia has long been a part of West Michigan's growth. Her family's business, Alstrom Construction, has been building area landmarks such as the L.C. Walker Arena, Pere Marquette boardwalk and Heritage Landing since 1919.
In 1999, Malia continued that tradition by creating her own business -- Goodgrains bakehouse. The upscale bakehouse was the first of its kind in West Michigan and soon became a popular destination for those seeking unique quality foods and beverages in an inviting atmosphere. After a successful seven-year run, Malia sold her share of Goodgrains.
With a Masters Degree in Business and a hands-on construction background, Malia is a rare find in the real estate world. Her business sense, construction knowledge and entrepreneurial drive give her an edge when dealing with buyers, sellers and investors alike. As an independent business owner, she strongly believes in high quality customer service and giving the client the most for his or her dollar.
